My Teacher
The art of saving, the art of mutual understanding and the meaning of life. These are the stuffs i learn from my teacher, my mother. To me, experience of your parents truly are the meaning of life. Its not as if they know or fully understand what is life. However, through their life till their old, talk to them, nv feel shy to lie beside them and talk to them. Share your questions, share your nags and nonsense, they will forever be the only one who listens to you. They will teach you what they see.
They were young like us and now they are old. We will go through what they go through. However, they are old and had also been through what we have not been through, and speaking and listening to them gives us better preparation for our tomorrow.
I had these Japanese cousins. When they visited Singapore, they saw me and my brother sticking to my mother like little boys even though we are way too old for those kiddy actions. They questioned their mother why are we littat. My auntie explained that this is Singapore culture, maybe its the sons of Ko's culture.
