Thai club death toll hits 62

BANGKOK - THE death toll from the New Year's fire that tore through a Bangkok nightclub has risen to 62, emergency services said on Sunday, as police tried to track down the disco's owners for questioning.

The 62nd victim was a woman who succumbed to her burns on Saturday, the services said in a statement.

Do you still think that forbidding smoking in those late night clubs and also in the pubs or wherever is wrong for the smokers? Hell yeah, it is good damn right! Smoking in clubs in Singapore seems no wrong in the past, but however now we can only say PHEW~. What if Zouk (Phuture) broke out of fire? I can tell you that everyone will be dead trap in there, the next thing we know, it adds up to Singapore Tragedy in a couple of minutes.
